Have you ever been in a situation before where you meet someone great, and you made an awesome connection with them, be it business or personal, and then and you go "It was great connecting with you! What's your LinkedIn, or Facebook, Or Twitter, etc., or even worse... do you have a name card?", and sometimes you go back and you start to find them on other platforms and you start adding them one by one by one by one? Sheesh..

Have we ever stopped to think how tedious and how much time that actually takes? In the 21st Century, shouldn't connecting with someone be easier? Well, It just got easier.

Introducing Blue

The New Way to Network™. And here is how it works.

Just. Like. That.

Tap and connect. Done. Using Blue's Bluetooth Low Energy and Near Field Communication, connecting with people nearby on existing social media networks has never been easier.

Blue uses cutting-edge technology to reinvent the business card. The Blue Smart Card allows you to instantly share your social information with just one tap. And best of all, the other person doesn't need the Blue app to receive your information and add you to their contacts!

The best part of Blue is their mobile app that uses Bluetooth Auto-Networking™ technology. This Introduces you to people you cross paths with in real-life and encourages users to be social in person

Simply turn on Blue, slide your phone back in your pocket and as soon as you cross paths with another user in REAL-LIFE, you'll receive a notification!

It is literally that easy, and the people at Blue call it ambient networking, with a vision to ultimately build a world of friends wherever we go.

Will my information be at risk?

Yes of course, privacy and security is a big concern, but blue has you covered. Here is the tech mambo jumbo. Blue's Bluetooth Low Energy Technology uses Elliptic Curve P-256 Pairing Algorithm and AES-CCM Encryption algorithm on phones with Bluetooth versions 4.0 to 5.0. That basically means that your data is encrypted and protected when being detected, and when data is being transferred. So don't worry. You're safe.

So if you're a social butterfly, or a business person who needs to the latest connection, or maybe you just want the convenience of it all (because why not, right?), then "Let Blue Introduce You™", because again, making connections should be easy.

Billionaire Tim Draper invests $1.1M in Blue

One last thing that is definitely worth mentioning. Tim Draper, the billionaire VC who has previously funded Tesla, Skype, SpaceX, Twitch, Hotmail, Robinhood, and 23 other unicorns at the seed stage, invested in Blue!

On Friday, April 24, 2020, Blue closed its $1.368M Series Seed Round with lead investor Tim Draper investing $1M through Draper Associates. Draper University Ventures also participated in the round and invested $100,000.

Hey Frederic, Got an exciting new tip for iPhone users. There is an easier way to save contacts. Once the user clicks add to contacts, they can press and hold the profile picture, then a drop-down menu will appear where they can create new contact. This step is quicker than the original method.

Hey there, got the Blue card from you guys. What I noticed is that when the persons scans the card using iPhone, it appears on the Contacts app once you opt to add it to contacts. What I realized is that it doesn’t actually have a save button, just Done. So the contact doesn’t actually get saved. This causes some confusion. Am I doing anything wrong? Thanks!
